Cinerama to release new Peel Sessions compilation...
Cinerama are about to release a follow up to their 2001 Peel Sessions compilation.
John Peel Sessions: Season 2, a twelve track CD on Scopitones will hit the record shops on 28 April 2003.
Like The Wedding Present before them, David Gedge's Cinerama have had a close association with the John Peel Show from the outset. This second collection of recordings made exclusively for the programme, both in live performance and in studio sessions at the BBC's famous Maida Vale Studios in London, features the earliest renditions of songs that went on to form the core of the band's second and third albums, Disco Volante and Torino, released in 2000 and 2002 respectively.
