Bodixa are a female fronted five piece from Leeds who produce a blend of emotive and beautiful music. Strong harmonies and a big helping of good song writing talent lie at the heart of their distinctive sound. After supporting acts such as Moby, KT Tunstall and Tom Macrae, Bodixa performed on the Roadworks 2004 UK tour showcasing some of the best new song writing acts around. The band were then hand picked by Michael Eavis himself to play the acoustic tent at Glastonbury 2004 and soon after signed a publishing deal with Complete music ( home to Everything but the Girl, Roddy Frame, and the Stranglers). After completing recording sessions on location in South East Ireland and support dates with publishing label mate Roddy Frame, Bodixa Release "The Way Back Home" EP In September through Fear of Pop, Singles and Album to follow!
