Loudmouth Soup are used to being viewed as oddities, we are after all relatively young people playing country/roots influenced tunes. However this does have its benefits - giving us the chance to play with other oddballs including The Handsome Family, Ella Guru, the Golden Virgins, The Blueskins and next month James Yorkston. John Peel (RIP) has also given us Radio 1 airplay and BBC North's Raw Talent has showcased us.
We are totally DIY - recording and releasing through our own organisation (Gumbo Recordings). However, we will be entering the studio next month to record our second single for which we have been offered financial support and a full uk vinyl release.
