The Invention
The Invention are a four piece indie/rock band based in Leeds. They have played venues such as Roadhouse & Late Room - Manchester, Joseph's Well & Cockpit - Leeds, Barfly - Sheffield and Dublin Castle & Bull and Gate - London with positive feedback. Most of 2004 was spent playing showcase gigs to record labels such as B Unique, Fierce Panda, BMG and Parlaphone. In November 2004 The Invention have been recording a new demo with the tracks "lights out" and "lock the door" which they plan to take to London for another set of showcase gigs at the start of 2005.
