Project: New City formed in summer 2002. The idea of fusing guitar and dance music was something that interested both founding members, Tim Leather (Vox, Guitar & Keyboards) and Matt Mitchell (Guitar & Programming). The pair set to work on creating a distinct style and began building the musical soundscapes which would become the PNC of today.
