Gary Stewart Band

Born 1981 in Perth, Scotland. Retains permanent residencies in several Leeds restaurants and bars, gigs regularly in London, Leeds and Scotland. Also a teacher, professionally qualified orchestral drummer and drummer in two rocks bands. Influences include James Taylor, Paul Simon, Nick Drake and Counting Crows.
In addition to regular appearances on the 'traditonal acoustic circuit' (with the likes of Maria Lynch, Gina Dootson, Andy Moore etc) Gary is making a major impact on the 'Rock Circuit' with recent appearances alongside the likes of Four Day Hombre, Straight Razor Angels, The Noise, Urban Eyez and Coburn. This is Garys' aim, to bring his very personable, individual style and beautifully crafted lyrics to a whole new audience. His electric stage performances have captivated even the most hardened of punk and metal lovers.
