Coheed and Cambria @ Cockpit

By Sean Flynn

As Cameron grace the stage, the mood in the Cockpit seems quite down. Support band My Codename is Milo pulled out a few days earlier, leaving punters a bit down.

Cameron put on a very good show despite the lack of any support from the Leeds crowd. With powerful guitars and roaring vocals, this band do make a good impression on me. Unfortunately, just as the set is at its peak, they decide to stop this powerful music to have a slow, sway along song, even finding time to use a hand organ during it. This slows down the set drastically, losing any real atmosphere in the venue. Finishing off how they started, they are a really good band. They just have to sort their set lists out.

Coheed and Cambria are on great form as usual, although they are constantly complaining about having no personal life due to touring. They play a good mix of old and new songs, keeping all fans happy. A sour taste is left in the mouth of the fans when no encore is played due to technical difficulties, but still a fantastic gig.
