I think this is the same CD I got given from a freind. It should be cut down to just the first three songs. Track four onwards ain't good enough to be on there.
However, Sexual Chocolate(Track 1) I think is fantastic!! Very Happy Mondays!!!
Is it the same CD Sam?

I get the feeling the one you had we recorded last summer. we kept track one and put it on the end of this demo (which has re-recordings of tracks 2 and 3)...the other 4 which are on your cd are individual mess-arounds and are TOTALLY rubbish! I can get our new demo to you if you email me your address through a private message, or if you come to one of our gigs (see the website). WE GOT TOTALLY SLATED ON THIS REVIEW! Everyone to their own I guess, I don't know how much our pretentious biog influenced the review (I made us sound like cocks) but I was a bit disappointed the review didn't concentrate on what the music is...blatant pop. The idea of getting reviewed by LMS was no means to an end so I'm happy there has been an opinion expressed even if it is an opinion of dislike.
Has anyone seen the Hair live?

Just get on with it. I always thought Oasis and Nirvana were boring, so what do I know? I'm curious about how you think it's "blatant pop". Compared to who? Which pop acts are doing stuff like this?

yeah you're right. It's not really pop...I think I meant generally "conventional". I think there are points of the music that step away from the more obvious blueprints of the genre, but I am a person who has mulled over "the sound" a lot and picked up various modes of sub-conscious spin along the way!
I will get on with it (I'm reeling in the dummy right now), and I don't like nirvana either. I'll stick to one forum from now on too.
cheers!

jesus...I'd just got over it until I saw you gave the stereophonics one more star than us! how upsetting!

The Hair are foot soldiers in the great army of rock and roll. They play bluesy soulful rock, with some keyboard frills. They are destined to dream of finding the audience that share their passion for standard formats and honest delivery.
