How many times? A review is one person's opinion. Why bother asking for or reading reviews if you are only interested in hearing what you want to hear?

angry kaya fan. just keep your mouth shut please. i know you mean well but that's not the way to go about it.
some guy doesn't like us, that's something that i'm just going to have to live with.
i would actually like people to go to www.kayaonline.co.uk and download the full songs and give me some feedback of your own here, because there wasn't really anything worth thinking about in the review.
telling us we're not funny and our songs are forgettable doesnt really explain to me what's wrong with them.
cheers
P.S. coming soon, kaya's review of richard garnett. KIDDING!

Oh dear I've rattled some cages again or are those bars just the ones on your cot? People seem to think that by writing a review that doesn't agree with them I must be Satan! It doesn't do much justice to the other bands I have reviewed and said were good does it? Maybe they would like a word with you, or even better go and listen to them yourselves and see why they are so highly regarded. May I also say it isn't my place to say why a song isn't good in extended detail. If you want that then sit down with a panel of producers and songwriters and have workshop on the merits of your material. And another thing before I rant any longer - I have written a lot of songs and released 4 albums. It's not my place to say whether they are better or not but 10 years gigging across the nation to many happy fans has taught me my opinion in these matters is worth just as much as anyone else's. It just happens that I take the time to put something back into the local scene.

richard, i didn't post the 'angry kaya fan' message, i assume the 'cot' comment was aimed at that.
i haven't disagreed with your opinion, i just couldn't find much in the review in the way of helpful criticism or advice. fair enough if you don't want to provide that, i'm not going to bug you about it.
i've no idea who posted that message but they've certainly made us look pretty childish.

It wasn't aimed at you David, I was defending myself against the ignorant attack from AKF. Good luck with the band and hopefully this puts an end to another Hang Rick Garnett campaign.

If you imagine for one moment that this over, THINK AGAIN Garnett!

"It'll be really funny and everyone will forgive our recording foibles if we call our demo 'Poorly Produced Demo' upfront - hey it's irony man!" Umm, well it isn't funny and it should really have been called 'Poorly Mastered Demo' lacking as it does in EQ or volume. In fact it's a disservice to producer (our very own) James Stringer who does a fair job of mixing and balancing levels on 3 rather straight pop/rock songs.
