The Black Velvets: Glamstar

The Black Velvets continue with their brand of old school rock with their third single 'Glamstar' and the band are doing well for themselves with a slot supporting Motley Crue on their upcoming UK tour having already supported The Who. Not bad for four boys from Liverpool.

'Glamstar' has all the makings of a total crowd pleaser, kicking off with a foot stomping beat and chugging riffs, all glam punk rock attitude complimented perfectly with some confident, ever so slightly throaty vocals and the obligatory guitar solo. Like it or not, you won't be able to shake this song out of your head.

A debut album is due out anytime now and if this single is anything to go by, it's one to look forward to.
