If the abrasive intensity of the verses, when mixed with angular guitars, shout out post hardcore then the catchy Britrock fashioned choruses really should not fit in. But surprisingly they do as Cosmopolitan Bloodloss delivers a well-suited hybrid of heavy emo rock and pop sensibilities. "Straightedge emo hardcore" is what Glassjaw call it, and who's to argue with that? - an ok record at the end of the day.
