Leodis, Indie band, located in Hunslet, Leeds, original music

BAND MEMBERS:
Kieran Wormald on vocals & guitar
Steve Wormald on bass.
Lea Gibson on lead guitar.
Danny Isenring on drums.

Leodis are a 4 piece Indie / Rock band from Leeds.
They have been playing many gigs and creating a buzz in and around Leeds, always getting a great reception with their own original sound and lyrics,
along with performing cover version that many have commented were better than the original bands.
Leodis are highly accomplished and dedicated musicians, all learning to play at a very early age.

The band have been overwhelmed by the response of fans from the USA who have been leaving unbelievably fantastic comments on myspace and quite simply begging for the band to tour there.
With some 6000 US fans adding themselves since January of this year.
We feel we just need the the right A&R person to listen and see us and then things will start happening.

One of the hottest unsigned bands are Leodis, who play many local gigs and only need that lucky break that all top artists need at some stage in their careers. Initially influenced by Oasis among others,Leodis are developing their own sound and style. Indie rock with Pauls unique guitar solos thrown in, Kierans song writing prowess is growing everyday. When I first heard them, I knew this band had something, but I didnt quite know what it was. Well, what they have is what every music producer is looking for everyday, and even the likes of Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louie Walsh have a TV program looking for exactly what Leodis have. The X Factor. Nobody knows what the X Factor is, but you simply know when somebody has got it. When I first put out the photos of the band, the first comment back was Kieran is Hot! Sex appeal is good, and Kieran simply oozes sex appeal wherever he goes, but it in his songwriting and singing where Kieran really exceeds. With Kieran's singing, Steves dulcet bass riffs, and Dannys rhythmic drumming, Pauls top drawer guitar solos finished off with Laurens melodic backing vocals, the Leodis sound is created.
The bottom line is LEODIS do have what it takes. They just need the right break

During a recent gig at the Victoria in Pudsey. The band had a slight hiccup when a main amp blew. Disaster for most bands, but with Leodis you get a bit more than the average band.

Kieran quickly rose to the challenge of an excited audience who wanted to be entertained. The crowd were already having a great evening and the amp problem would have sank most bands.
Lieran did the entire solo acoustic second set. The crowd simply didn't know what had hit them. Kieran wowed the crowd and left them in no doubt that they had indeed just witnessed a star in the making.
10/10 Star Quality
