Nominations sought for the INDY Music Awards 2008
Organisers of the INDY Music Awards 2008 have issued a call for all independent music promoters and venues in Leeds to nominate their favourite artists. Having focused on London in 2007, this year will see the awards celebrate independent music across the whole of the UK.
Independent promoters and venues have until Thursday (7th February) to nominate their favourite artist - the public will then vote to whittle down the shortlist until a panel selects the final nominees.
In order for Leeds to be in with a real chance of being represented and being in with the chance of having a local band triumph on the night of the ceremony, local venues and promoters have to nominate at www.indyawards.co.uk before Thursday.
