Vessels to release a new single in June

On Monday 16th June, Leeds band Vessels will release the first single to be taken from their debut album 'White Fields and Open Devices'.

The Digital Download-only single, 'A Hundred Times In Every Direction', comes with a rework of the band's first ever single, 'Yuki', originally released in March 2007. It will also feature a re-recording of 'The Beast' (initially found on the band's 2006 Vessels EP) and 'Descent', a glitchy, ambient electronica remix of the original 'Yuki'.

'A Hundred Times In Every Direction' was recorded at Pachyderm Studio just outside of Minneapolis under the guidance of producer John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, The Paper Chase).

The album is due out in early August.

Vessels are touring much of 2008, with an appearance at the Bestival lined up for September. They next play Leeds on Saturday 14th June at the Brudenell Social Club.
