Review of MGMT's CD "Electric Feel"

MGMT: Electric Feel

Even though Brooklyn-based duo MGMT have been around for the best part of six years, it's only been this year that they've really made an impact on the music scene. Their debut album 'Oracular Spectacular' was released earlier this year, which includes single 'Electric Feel'.

The song is retro, funky and has a great groove. It's unbelievably catchy and to really appreciate it you will need to be in a venue that has a silver-spinning ball on the ceiling. It's clear to see why so many highbrow publications were excited about this band.

If the album has more tracks like this then it will be a worthwhile purchase. MGMT have a tour planned for later in the year, which could be a very exciting spectacle.
