Fran Rodgers wins Futuresound 2008 to play at Reading and Leeds Festival 2008
The winners of Futuresound 2008 were revealed this week with the judges choosing Fran Rodgers as their overall winner. Fran will play the Festival Republic Stage (previously the Carling Stage) at Leeds Festival and the BBC Introducing Stage (previously the Unsigned Stage) at Reading Festival.
Fran Rodgers is currently working on her 'The Green Room EP' due to be released after the summer.
The runners up include Dinosaur Pile-up, Solus Locus, The Bacchae, These Monsters and The Humour.
These five bands will play The BBC Introducing Stage at both festivals and will join those bands previously announced for this stage.
