Will you review our record / CD?

We cannot promise to review all submissions (we get hundreds), but we are always happy to receive CDs from unsigned and signed bands.

My band isn't featured! How do I get listed?

If your band is based in West Yorkshire (e.g. Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield) then we will be happy to create a band profile on the site for you.

We create all band pages manually so you will need you to supply the following information to us:

• Band Name
• Official Band Website
• Official E-mail Contact
• Biography
• Photograph

How do I add a gig to my band page?

All of our gig listings are sourced directly from the Leeds Gig Guide, and cover Leeds venues only.

If you want to add a gig onto your band page, or just onto our site in general, you need to submit it through the following page:

My band has some great news - how do I post to your Music News section?

If your band is about to release a single or album, or has some other news that you believe is worthy of announcing please send it to us at news [ at ] leedsmusicscene.net

If your news relates to a gig you are playing please see the previous FAQ.

Additionally, we do not usually post news articles about a band's recent line up changes.

My band is looking for new members - where can I advertise?

We have a separate site for all music-related classified adverts. Check out the Leeds Music Classifieds.

Our band page is out of date - how do I update it?

We allow bands to directly edit the content on their pages.

To request access to edit your band page please contact us in the first instance.

We'd like to play at your festival, can we?

Leeds Music Scene are not the promoters of the Leeds Festival, neither do we have any association with it. The organisers are Mean Fiddler.

If you are in an unsigned band, and wish to play at the festival, you may find the following article of some interest.

We'd like to play at your venue, can we?

Leeds Music Scene do not organise gigs. If you're after a gig in Leeds, please review our Leeds Gig Promoters and Leeds Music Venues pages.

We're touring and would like you to preview our gig.

All of our gig information is sourced directly from the Leeds Gig Guide. If your gig is not already in the guide, then you can submit it along with your gig preview through the following link:

If your gig is already posted, but has no description / preview attached, then you can request manual updates be applied by contacting us directly.
