Your obsession with the country of Iceland is highly distrurbing. I would suggest that this reveiwer is no longer given access to music from this country and instead only provided with cds by the libertines and the ordinary boys for reviewing purposes.

Ok well i still don't know if i can make it on the 4th Sept. I'm from Bradford so it would mean paying £20 to get a taxi back. The question we need to ask ourselves is whether it is worth paying £20 to get a free demo that is on sale for £2.50

it's a shame bradford rio doesn't get many decent bands playing. Mortiis played there once, which was nice

Posted in CD Review: Ryan Adams - Rock n Roll

What? That he gets drunk, falls off a stage and breaks his arm. I downloaded the shadowlands from the gig where he fell over. you get to here the exact moment he falls over and crys like baby. rock and roll

Good to see former members of terrorvision doing well. Sadly i think Shutty sells computers to schools now.

the man is a lyrical genius. possibly the greatest poet of all time. moving people with his tender emotion filled words, ''i love you like a fat kid loves cake''

Saw these guys supporting the Hives a few years ago in Nottingham. Quite good.

Seriously Mr DeForge what were you smoking when you listened to this music?

Posted in CD Review: The Darkness - Permission To Land

I would have thought that this review would have stirred up some controversy. They make Spinal Tap look serious. Infact they are so crap that even Zane Lowe won't do a voice over on adverts for the album.

Posted in CD Review: Vib Gyor - Insomnia EP

Good name for a band aswell. I think it always helps if you've got a good name. If they were called Gimp 67 I doubt people would be as willing to give their music a listen

Posted in CD Review: Bonsai Kittens - The Big Laugh Happy Happy Joy Joy Album

Kind of like those chocolate covered pretzels that came out about 4 years ago. They tasted like crap but i just couldn't get enough of them. "Bonzai Kittens, the chocolate pretzels of the music world"

Posted in Live Review: Lightning Bolt + Bilge Pump + Wolves! (of Greece) + Like a Kind of Matador

Posted in CD Review: Hundred Reasons - Shatterproof is not a Challenge

I know the first album got loads of high ratings but i wasn't that impressed. Respect to them for keeping to the "British" sound and not playing crappy american nu-metal and singing with american accents like welsh muppets the lost prophets

Yep, but still it's that extra £2 that's annoying me. May just buy it anyway unless it turns up on ebay....
