Quack Quack release a new single on Run Of The Mill records
Leeds based Quack Quack released their first single through Run of the Mill records on 12th June. Both tracks, "Mars" and "The Great Catsby", reveal a recognisable progression building on the innovative characteristics heard on their debut self titled EP.
This three piece instrumental, instrument swapping band was formed in Spring 2005. Drummer, Neil Turpin, also mans the kit for Bilge Pump and Polaris and has done a stint in HiM alongside Doug Scharin.

I've only ever seen Nursery once, on that occasion they were opening up for Icelandic outfit Bellatrix over in Bradford, but from all accounts I remember it being quite a memorable set.
There's always been a place for humour in music. All the best bands had wit without being cheesy and over the top with it, and tonight proves that humorous observations and amusing asides don't mean you have to be the Grumbleweeds.
