The Pattern @ Leeds Festival 2002
Ahhh, The Pattern... one of the forerunners of the trashy, garage rock revival that has seen the music media continually cream their pants at the possibility of another band beginning with 'The'; the same scene that has spawned thousands and thousands of wannabe new bands, each one attracted by the fact that 'you don't actually have to play that well'.

It's Monday night. And people have left their warm cosy houses, braved the elements and piled down the Well for a sloppy, dirty, nasty sludge-rock extravaganza!

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip @ Leeds Festival 2008

The Rakes @ Leeds Festival 2006
It doesn't seem like two minutes since we left the rubble and wreckage of last year's festival behind and dispersed forth to the safe haven of a soft floor and a properly plumbed toilet.
I arrived at the Mixing Tin just as Bracken were starting their set. Coming down the stairs I could already feel the Anticon associated bass thrumming up to meet me.
