Five O'Clock Heroes: Time on my hands
It seems that if you don't have an angle, you're just not now. The Bravery are the new suited and booted Cure while The Others' position is surely due to Keith Richards-esque drug consumption.

Brazil are probably the most over-underrated Leeds band not to come from Leeds. Tonight there are times in their set which opens up the night that are literally entertainment of the highest order, and at other times they drift off into a sort of in-between world where your mind wanders and you lose focus on what they are trying to do.
Parisman: Responsible for Everything EP
Parisman's "Responsible for Everything" EP starts in a blaze of unabashed Geetar Rock-disco synthesiser fusion.
Various Artists: Leeds Urban Fusion 2003
According to the liner notes here in the CD wallet of Leeds City Council's 'Urban Fusion 2003' album it says, rather cringingly, that this is a CD "born from hip hop, r&b and urban flavaz" although what 'urban flavaz' is meant to mean I have no idea.
On a bar-full of chemically dubious sweetiepops and bilious lagers here stands a single malt of geological integrity and permanent joy.
The Machines Will Take Over @ The Railway (Featherstone)
First impressions of Featherstone's The Railway? Normal pub... ominous looking equipment lying around...
