So tonight I am a walking, talking advert for MySpace. Each instructed to wear a MySpace sticker as a pass and given a complimentary MySpace t-shirt, the 260 competition winners and 40-or-so industry/press types gather outside Elland Road football stadium, in shocking temperatures, on a blustery Friday evening. There's a nervous excitement in the air. The competition winners - and, indeed, some of the members of the press - have no idea where they are about to be taken, in order to see one of the UK's most prolific dance acts in an intimate warm-up show for their upcoming tour.
Lovechild have self belief and ambition. They've sent their stuff from Belfast to Leeds, and they're determined to get a wider audience.
